For Hanyang University Students (한양대학교 재학생)

• Hanyang students have the opportunity to enhance their global perspective and academic knowledge through the following options:

• Seasonal Semesters(계절학기): Summer School and Winter School
• Opening Time: During summer/winter vacations, for those who wish to graduate earlier or earn supplemental credits.
• Eligibility: Regular students enrolled at Hanyang University, students on a leave of absence, and credit exchange students from other universities.*Note: If a student on a leave of absence takes a seasonal semester as their last semester, they need to take one more regular semester to graduate.*Important: 졸업유예 (Graduation Deferral) and 졸업예정자 (Graduation Candidates) are not allowed to take summer school.
• Available Courses: Classes are mainly composed of 2 or 3-credit courses (major requirements / field elective courses).
• Course Registration: Registration dates, list of open courses, and course schedules are announced at a separate time prior to registration. Registration is carried out through the HY-in system, similar to regular semesters.
• Grading System: The calculation and admission of grades acquired in seasonal semesters are identical to those of regular semesters.Grades earned are included in total acquired credits and average grade calculations but are not acknowledged as credits for scholarships, order of precedence, or awarding.

For Overseas University Students

• Hanyang University welcomes students from all over the world to participate in our dynamic summer and winter schools:

• Eligibility: Open to anyone currently enrolled in an overseas higher education institution (university/college) or who has graduated within the last six months.
